Modak is a display Devanagari script font that features very thick strokes, portly curves and thin counter. According to the font designer, Modak started off as a lettering experiment with sketches by hand to test the possibilities of very heavy yet legible letterforms of Devanagari.

Modak is a open source font, that means you can use it for any usage, and also it’s hosted on Google Fonts as well. If you are interested, you can also check out the original font source files hosted on Github.
